Happy Holidays 2010 to Everyone!

Our 1st Anniversary!

This has been a most exciting year in many ways. First, this the first year Anniversary of this website! Exactly one year ago I started out activating this project having a pretty good understanding of what I wanted to share with all of you. So far we are on track with those plans and the coming year promises even more exciting improvements to the website and considerably more information for you to partake of.

In many ways this site has been a year long gift for you in so far as the information continues to be provided totally free of charge. In that way we have reached an even wider audience for those seeking information about music theory and composition. We want to continue to bring music education to you in this way and at this point our plans have not changed.

Website Growth

I am happy with our progress as it was never expected to reach to over 45 countries of the world and over 5,000 visitors per month. To me this exceeds what I had expected and so for me as well, it has been a gift. I thank you for supporting this site and I am looking forward to yet another year of exciting growth and opportunity. It will only be because of you that it does happen!

StringTunes

The StringTunes site has also continued to grow in audience reach with an increase into over 50 countries of the world and between 12,000 to 15,000 visitors per month and growing bigger each day. That’s a 30% growth over the past year. Amazing!

We have some really exciting things coming up in the 2011 New Year for our StringTunes website. Please stay tuned in for more news as things open up shortly after the turn of the year.

To My Featured Guests

To my Featured Artists, Composers and Luthiers, I want to extend a special thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate with us here on Music Theory and Composition. Your contributions and willingness to share more about yourselves with our audience has added an excellent feature to this site. I hope you have gained equally by the benefits you may have received due to your involvement with us. Thank you again!

Please join us by extending the Holiday cheer to all of our featured guests by visiting their website. Consider leaving a note letting them know how much you appreciate their creative efforts and their willingness to share on this site. You might even be feeling enough gratitude to send them some pleasant Holiday Greetings! Besides, it won’t hurt you or cost you anything and it will make them feel good! What better time is there than now? Thanks!

I Need Your Help!

Frankly, I need your help in getting the word out. If you know anyone who might gain from the information and resources available on this site please tell them about us. Growing through  word of mouth is important to us here and we hope you have found enough value that you are willing to help spread the word about us. Twitter, blog and chat with those you know, help us to get the word out there! Link to us and share this site with others. If there is a question of our intent, please review our Mission Statement.

During this Holiday Season remember, it’s not what you give of things but what you give of yourself that matters the most!

Happy Holidays and Blessings to All!

Don
