None really. I just wanted to write a piece for cello for a friend of mine which turned out to be for two celli instead of one.

Story behind the song

This musical work was Greg’s fault. He started me on a search for a simplified work for beginning cello players. It was difficult to write in so far as the melody made this piece more difficult than was originally planned. Consequently, the work evolved into a duet for cello rather than a solo piece. Such is the way of the muse but, I blame Greg 🙂 Hope you enjoy!
