Greg, this one’s for you!

Greg Peterson, Detroit Michigan

Story behind the song

I started out attempting to compose a fairly easy piece for solo cello for a friend of mine in Detroit who at the time was just starting out playing this incredible instrument. Greg continues to play with a quartet in the Detroit area. Well, as a solo work, it didn’t turn out to be such a simple piece after all so I enriched it into becoming Cellic Expressions. The name is an interesting and unique form of the word cello although, my English Teacher would most likely disapprove of my creativity on that one so I’ll just claim, for purposes of fulfilling artistic freedom:)
