Story behind the song

The idea for this piece came in the early morning waking hours. A slow motion process of waking to the alarm and listening to the sounds of a new day such as: the scurrying of the little critters in the garden, the gentle breeze through the trees and the bells from the neighborhood church ringing in the background. It was the hope and promise of the new day that inspired this piece.
